I looked at a TON of reviews and carriers before deciding on this. Tula seemed to be recommended highly as well as a couple of other carriers. After looking at reviews, trying on carriers in stores (not Tula as it wasn't available), looking at weight limits, mateiral, etc. I felt like I had not found the right carrier. I looked online and then chose off of the position I could carry my child in. I really wanted to have a carrier I could use on my back. I have a two year old and we love to hike! I have some fancy hiking backpacks but when I used them and our toddler moved on my back, I felt like I had motion sickness. It was an awful and strange feeling. So, I decided to try this. My toddler and I love this. I can easily carry him on my back or on my stomach. It doesn't make me feel sick at all. What I like most is that it is compact (being cloth and not a big hiking backpack) and easy to take along. I find myself keeping it in the back of our vehicle and using it even on small shopping trips that I need to finish quickly, or places where there are lots of people and I want to keep track of him (baseball games) and know exactly where he is at all times. I can't tell you how many times I have left it in the house and gone to get it out of the back of the vehicle, and have been frustrated b/c I would have liked to use it! I am so glad I chose this carrier. I know it will last us a while and would recommend it to anyone due to my experience. I should also note, I live in a location that is very hot and humid and this is a way better carrier as far as breathability than others I have used. I'm not saying it's perfect, let's be reasonable: It's cloth, you're wearing a carrier and you likely have a toddler snuggled up against you. BUT my hot natured son loves it. I chose this pattern because cost was a factor and this one cost less than other prints! So shop around unless you just want a specific pattern. I can only say good things about this carrier! We love it!This was amazing for a crowded airport at 4am! We’ve also used it a the zoo and shopping where the stroller was tooBig. My daughter is 22 months and about 25 pounds. There’s tons of space for her to grow. You can barely tell you’re carrying her. We've been looking to replace a different brand carrier that we sadly lost. I fell in love with the print of this carrier online. In person it is even more beautiful! This size fits our petite 20 lb and 27" 15 month old perfectly. She's comfortable in it, and is the first carrier she hasn't needed to get used to at all. I'm literally wearing her as I type!! The floral pattern is stunning. Already got compliments on it from a neighbor and I have barely left my house. LOVE. We tried (and returned) the toddler size Tula as it was too big for our petite 15 month old. This carrier is perfect. If you have a younger baby, or if your toddler is under 30" I highly recommend this. It's so comfy! This carrier fits well and helps alleviate back pain compared to cheaper carriers, but I find it difficult to take on and off by myself. I have short arms and have a hard time reaching back to the straps. Also, even with the infant insert it still did not fid my baby comfortably till around 4 months and she is not a petite baby.I AM IN LOVE. This is my first Tula, after owning an Ergo.Everything about it is magnificent.Super easy to adjust, fits my babe perfectly (12 months, 23 lbs, 30") with plenty of growing room. Fits my body type better than any other carrier I have tried (5'5", 115 lbs, short torso and no hips)! It is so supportive, soft yet durable all at the same time.I originally tried an all seasons Lillebaby and had to return it because it didn't fit me well at all and was super uncomfortable. I finally ordered my dream Tula and it truly is a DREAM. I'll never go back.5/5 recommend this!!The Tula rocks!-It's super simple to use (just adjust the straps, pop the baby in and go!)-machine washable-hoodie attachment (pictured)-fits better (I had a mesh Ergobaby before and it always felt too bulky)-comes in cute designs!I bought this for my bro's wedding and my back and arms thank me! Because this wasn't mesh I was worried about overheating, but he was totally fine and content. The is the standard carrier, so the baby can only face towards you, but that's all I need! If you want a model that supports a lower weight without buying the infant insert the Tula Grow With Me is a great option. And if you want one with multiple facing positions the Explore model has this capability!I love this carrier. It is very well made. The fabric is lovely. It is our every day carrier of course but it also looked awesome when I wore it with my Harley quinn costume at Dragon Con last year.I have degenerative disk disease and I am happy to say that it balanced her weight across my body in such a way that wearing Miss Sassafras did not aggregate my condition. It also works well for my very tall hubby without issues. He continues to wear her in this carrier daily and takes her on walks with this carrier without issue. She is currently 27 lbs and 33 inches. The standard fits her perfectly at this point. This carrier will last you a good long while. Do not worry about needing to switch up to a toddler too quickly. It won't happen. You will get a lot of use out of this standard model. It is well worth the price tag. Such a comfortable wear. I wish that I had this brand of carrier with my other kids.I really can’t get over how easy this makes it to carry my toddler. I didn’t expect much because unlike most other carriers, padding for the back strap is not included. It’s just the plain 2” wide nylon strap around your waist. But I have scoliosis and a great deal of lower back pain, and wearing on my front or on my back, my 30 lb toddler feels like a feather in this. And she seems comfortable in it, too, despite only being able to face in, which I’d thought she’d hate. In fact, my little Miss Has-to-Walk-Everywhere-Like-a-Big-Girl will throw a fit when it’s time to get out. I do wish the extra support for your back didn’t have to be an extra purchase, though.I'm actually waiting for that baby carrier arriving soon, netherless to say how impatient i am!I will definitely edit my review as soon as i willbe able to try it.But i already own the tula explorer, i love the pattern and how light and comfortable it is!My 8 months old Son will surely like this one as much as the explorer! Im aware this one don't do "facing the world" but it doesnt matter as i have one that does it anyway.Apologies for my english mistakes as i am French.
